Pin cushion time again!

The new Eduard Zero is still in the post – and that’s probably just as well, because I got my Covid booster jab this morning and have that classic “dead arm” feeling tonight – it’s probably the weight of all those nanoprobes and tracking chips that the Illuminati have put in the vaccines…

On a more rational note, any delay won’t go amiss in giving me a chance to get my workbench sorted out! Wow! What a mess! I’ve basically spent most of this year since we came out of Lockdown concentrating on music – and my modelling desk fully reflects that. So… time for a quick autumn/winter clean-up to inspire the creative juices. 😉

  1. Rowan,
Gotta laugh as I’ve also got two jabs and one booster on my side of the pond, always a ache in that arm for a few days, but never that Dead Arm feeling. Being way older then you, I’d have thought that it should have been the other way around.

And as for once again cleaning your workbench for your up coming Eduard Zero build, I’m looking forward to following your build adventures for sure.

  2. Hi Joel

I’ve had a mixed experience with Covid-19 jabs; I had no reaction at all to the first one (Oxford-AstraZeneca), felt pretty lousy after my second (O-AZ again), and then slightly woozy and had a heavy arm after the booster (Pfizer).

I feel really lucky – my best friend (the drummer in some of my groups from years ago) had a booster jab, having caught Covid back in the spring. The jab totally knocked him for six and he nearly ended up in an ICU – it was that touch and go!

Omicron is surging here in the UK, so I’m very pleased I got the booster when I did as the best protection against a serious infection. So… fingers firmly crossed. 😉

    All the best

  3. Hi Rowan

Looking forward to seeing your models being built… and perhaps hearing you play your new guitar!

  4. Rowan,
Guess I’ve been pretty lucky on my side of the pond. Got both Moderma shots and there booster as per the schedule time periods, and the booster left an aching arm for a day or so, but that’s been it.

Covid cases here on Long Island reached just north of 2,300 over the weekend but only 7 were the Omicron variant.

With my luck when my Carotid Angiogram on Jan 20th comes up, the hospital will be totally over run with Covid cases of which are mostly non-injected cases, so I’m hoping that they don’t cancel my procedure nor the Angioplasty that will follow.

BTW, have you started the Zero as yet?

Since I don’t see any tabs to import Pics, etc, do we just copy and paste?

    joel
