Amusing Hobby’s Me 262 HGIII has just arrived, and I’ve got to say it’s times like this that I particularly miss my good friend Steffen Arndt. To say he wasn’t a fan of “Luft ’46” would be the understatement of the year – so he would have absolutely loathed this kit! And, but for his tragically early passing, we could have locked horns wonderfully as we argued over its merits. Perhaps the only ground he would have given is that it’s at least in his beloved 1:48!
But I’ve got to say… on first inspection, there’s a lot that’s interesting here. Things are crazy at work at the moment, so I’ll take a deeper dive as soon as time allows – but, suffice to say for now, I’m really looking forward to building this.
